Cutting fabric with the Cricut

So after several attempts at cutting fabric with my Cricut expression, I finally got it right.  What to know?

●New blade
●New mat (that I now have marked exclusive to fabric)
●heat and bond ultra

Don't give up if it doesn't work at first. There are so many YouTube videos which show you the steps but those are the key things that allowed me to do it with no issues.  Also, you'll want to do simple images or cuts because anything with too much detail didn't really work for me.

Well that is all.  Happy crafting.

Christmas bulletin board

So here's the Christmas bulletin board I did for my preschoolers.  I took photos of qll the children sleeping or pretending to be sleep and did a gingerbread house with dollar store craft paper. It was super simple and I kinda threw it together.  Next months will be better. Mlk day. Not sure what I'll be doing but I'll be starting Thursday so we shall see.

New toy!

Merry Christmas! So my dh got me an embroidery machine fir Christmas and this is my first project.  Supposedly doing a onesie is kinda tedious but I got it to work.  I did hoop it upside down, so I had to flip all of my images 180 degrees.  Also I downloaded the images from the computer, which was another success.
All that's left is ironing and covering the back with some soft stabilizer.

Flip Flop Into Summer Classroom Decoration

I cut the letters using my Cricut Imagine. The flip flops were created by tracing each child's feet (bodily awareness).  The fish were cut using a stencil, and the children painted them using the primary colors (all the paint ended up brown, lol). Everything else was hand cut.

All of the other teachers are SOOOOO jealous!! :)
